Kevin Morby is a solo musician and former member of Woods and The Babies. Born in Lubbock, TX, he is now based out of Kansas City, Missouri. He joined Woods while living in Brooklyn, New York in the mid-late 2000s , then formed The Babies in the early 2010s with roommate Cassie Ramone of Vivian Girls.
After relocating to Los Angeles around 2013, Morby released his debut solo album, Harlem River. He has focused on a solo career ever since, and now has over half a dozen studio LPs to his name.
His 2021 LP Sundowner hit #1 on the FensePost Best of 2021 list, and the 2022 LP This is a Photograph came in at #2 for 2022.

2019 saw some great releases. Here are ten I felt were worthy of adding to my collection. This list is far from comprehensive, but as of right now it’s my top 10.
