Múm: Hvernig Á Að Særa Vini Sína (Video)

Iceland’s Múm has returned with a new album called Early Birds, out July 17 on Morr Music. In anticipation of the release, they’ve given us a video for “Hvernig Á Að Særa Vini Sína” (directed by MÃ¡ni M. SigfÃºsson). The song, translated to English, reads “How to Hurt Your Friends.” It’s highly imaginative, a bit distractive, and somewhat disturbing. Within you’ll find two individuals, one man and one woman. He destroys things. They both randomly lose teeth. It’s weird.

Grave Babies: Fuck Off (Video)

“Fuck Off” is a somewhat departure from “Nightmare”, the first publicly available track off Grave Babies‘ debut Hardly Art EP, Gothdammit. Amidst a softly pleasant backdrop are slightly creepy, pseudo-surreal gothic images put forth by director Jordan Utley. The opening notes of the song are initially reminiscent of Bunkbed’s cover of Xiu Xiu’s “Fallen Angel II”, acting as the perfect opening tune for the new EP.
