Seattle’s Pufferfish is a country-influenced folk group that features one of the city’s most prominent DIY artists, Levi Fuller. The cover art fits that nature with plenty of excellent print pieces on what very well could be recycled paper. I gotta say - I love these little paperboard CD sleeves too. It’s partly a combination with my love of screen print designs, which make for excellent cover art. The band does a wonderful job with both the screen print cover and the illustrated lyric book.
Accompanying this disc is a small flier noting the band’s upcoming holiday show in Seattle. If you’re in town, you can see Pufferfish perform at The Tractor in Ballard on Saturday, December 26. The show starts at 9:30 and (as the flier notes) features Star Anna and Kristen Ward.
