First, I have to disclose that I did not take these photos. I was a bit torn about even posting these on Cover Art for that very reason, as I like to take the shots myself. But Sub Pop packed these three images into a nice little email for their press folks. These shots of Nirvana’s Bleach reissue are very much in the style you’d see here, minus the homely environmental background. I just couldn’t resist.
Celebrating the album’s 20th anniversary, Sub Pop is slated to re-release Bleach both on white vinyl in a gatefold double LP. You can also get the deluxe CD version. Both include excellent photos from the band’s early days. This is easily a collector’s must-have.
